Mare or gelding, 4 years and over. Not ex 128cms. Riders not to have reached their 9th Birthday by 01.01.08. To be shown in a snaffle bridle, and lead rein attached to noseband only. Class 2 Style and Appearance – Lead Rein. Rules as above. Class 3 Style and Appearance – Horses/Ponies. Class 4 Mountain & Moorland – Small Breeds. Class 5 Mountain & Moorland – Large Breeds. LUNCH BREAK NOT BEFORE 1.30PM Class 6 First Ridden. Mare or gelding 4 years and over. Not ex 128cms. Riders not to have reached their 12th Birthday by 01.01.08. To be shown in a snaffle bridle. RING 3 Start 11.00am Class 19 Nursery Stakes (also open to lead rein) - Ponies 13hh and under and riders not to have reached their 12th Birthday by 01.01.08. Height 1ft 6in to 1ft 9in. Class 20 Novice Stakes – As above but open to Horses/Ponies any height, and riders any age. Class 21 2ft – 2ft 3in Working Hunter – Riders any age Horse/Pony any height. MAIN RING – SHOWJUMPING START 9.30AM Class 24 1ft 6in – 1ft 9in Beginners Jumping. This class will be judged on an optimum time in the first round, therefore no jump off. (Open to Lead Rein). Class 25 1ft 9in – 2ft Showjumping Class 26 2ft – 2ft 3in Showjumping Class 27 2ft 3in – 2ft 6in Showjumping (2 Phase) Class 28 2ft 6in – 2ft 9in Showjumping (2 Phase) Class 29 2ft 9in – 3ft Showjumping (2 Phase) Rosettes/Prizes SASH to Winner of each class (must have at least 8 competitors in the class for the sash to be awarded). 1st – 6th plus specials in all Lead Rein Classes, First Ridden, Beginners Horse/Pony, Nursery Stakes, and Beginners Show Jumping. Classes will be split between Horses/Ponies if there are sufficient entries. Entries Close the Wednesday before the Show. Objections must be made in writing to the show secretary accompanied by a deposit of £5 within one hour of the alleged incident taking place. Should the objection be deemed to be frivolous or unfounded, the deposit shall be forfeited. The show committee reserves the right to cancel or promptly alter any class without stating a reason. No entry fee refunded unless the show or class is cancelled, in which case 70% will be refunded. HATS Everyone whether a competitor or not when mounted, must wear protective headwear which includes a permanently fitted, non detachable retaining harness secured to the shell at more than two points. BRC recommends PAS015 which provides the greatest protection. All hats prefixed Se1 or ASTM are acceptable. The new minimum standard will be EN1384. The committees decision shall be final regarding all other matters. LEGAL LIABILITY Neither the club or any persons acting on its behalf will accept liability for any loss, damage or illness to ponies, horses, riders, spectators or any person. Dogs must be held on a leash at all times. All vehicles are parked at the owners risk. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable PRECAUTIONS TO ENSURE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF EVERYONE PRESENT. For these measure to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards.
