ALL ENTRIES CLOSE: Wednesday 16th April 2008 DRESSAGE TIMES AVAILABLE: Friday 18th April 2008 on 02476 543526 from 7.00pm to 9.00pm EVENT RULES GENERAL The rules of the Riding Club apply to all classes. A copy of the rules will be posted in the Clubhouse. No horse/pony may compete in more than one class. ELIMINATION ON SJ OR CC COURSES Riders eliminated in the Show Jumping may ride the Cross Country course. Competitors eliminated on the Cross Country course must leave the course. If time allows at the end of the class, any competitor that has been eliminated may go back to the said fence if they so wish. DECLARATIONS It will be assumed that each competitor intends to take part unless he/she notifies the Show Secretary to the contrary by 9.00pm on Saturday 19th April 2008. REFUNDS After entries close, entry fees will only be refunded upon receipt of a written application by the appropriate Veterinary or Medical Certificate. No refund will be made unless the withdrawal is notified above. HAIR All hair must be tied back and numbers must be clearly visible from the front and back. GENERAL CLUB RULES The judges decision will be final, including places in classes. Objections must be made in writing to the Show Secretary accompanied by a deposit of £5.00 within one hour of the alleged incident taking place. Should the objection be deemed frivolous or unfounded, the deposit shall be forfeited. The Show Committee reserves the right to cancel or promptly alter any class without stating a reason. HATS AND BACK PROTECTORS Everyone whether a competitor or not, when mounted must wear protective headwear. Rugby Riding Club are recommending the Area 5 ruling on headwear with the new minimum standard of EN1384, PAS015. All hats prefixed SE1 or ASTM are acceptable. HATS WITH A FIXED PEAK WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE WORN ON THE CROSS COUNTRY COURSE. The Committee’s decision shall be final regarding all other matters. Back protectors to Beta Level 3 Standard MUST be worn on the Cross Country course. LEGAL LIABILITY Neither the club, nor anyone on its behald, will accept liability for any accident, injury, loss, damage or illness to ponies, spectators or property. All vehicles are parked at the owners own risk. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health & safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers & all officials & stewards.
