The judges decision will be final including places in classes. Objections must be made in writing to the show secretary accompanied by a deposit of £5 within one hour of the alleged incident taking place. Should the objection be deemed to be frivolous or unfounded, the deposit shall be forfeited. The show committee reserves the right to cancel or promptly alter any class without stating a reason. No entry fee will be refunded unless the show or class is cancelled, in which case 70% will be refunded. Everyone whether a competitor or not when mounted, must wear a hard hat to at least the minimum standard, with a harness properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to do so will incur elimination. No rider will be permitted to start unless wearing a hat, which meets a standard currently recommended by the British Horse Society (PAS 015, EN 1384 or ASTM F1163 and bearing the kite mark or SEI). At all Cross Country events, riders must NOT wear hats with a fixed peak. You will not be allowed to compete unless you have a scull cap. Long hair must be tied back. A body protector is obligatory for Cross Country ( Horse Trials or Hunter Trials). All riders must wear a Beta Level 3 standard body protector. Level 1 and Level 2 are not acceptable. It is recommended that body protectors are worn according to the manufacturers instructions. Neither the club or any persons acting on its behalf will accept liability for any loss, damage, or illness to ponies, horses, riders, spectators, or any person. Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. The organizers of all events have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organizers and all officials and stewards.
